Season 6 Of Game Of Thrones Is Coming On April 25

This year, Game Of Thrones is coming to Australia at the same time as it premieres in the US again — as long as you have Foxtel. If you do, you can catch the first episode on Monday, April 25 at 11am.

This is the first season where smug book-readers won’t be able to spoil the ending for you, though if you’re a book fanatic yourself, the show may very well spoil the yet-to-be-released Winds of Winter for you. However, we thus far know very little about the plot of Season 6, though a few hints have been dropped.

Aussie actress Essie Davis (who you may remember from The Babadook) is joining the cast for the new season, depicting an actress who appears to be playing Cersei in a play based on the Red Wedding. She also seems to meet up with Arya at some point, as evidenced by this photo uploaded to Instagram. For anything more, we’ll just have to wait for the inevitable trailers that will have to tide us over until April.

Have you read all the books, or do you only follow the show? What do you think will happen in Season 6? Tell us all about it in the comments!
