When you’re buying your lunch today, you might want to take a moment and spend a little more. Gizmodo’s Lunch Time Deals posts point out any particularly good bargains for Aussie bargain hunters around the ‘net. Today, Bing Lee is selling a Google Chromecast streaming stick for a hair over $30.
Spotted by the keen eyes over at OzBargain, today’s deal sees Bing Lee’s eBay store selling the first-generation Chromecast for $38, and stacking the ‘CBINGLEE20’ coupon on top nets you a final price of $30.40. You can either pay the $5 for delivery, or click and collect the dongle from any Bing Lee store near you. This is nearly the cheapest we’ve seen the Chromecast selling for — it dipped under the $30 mark towards the end of last year.

The Chromecast is a fantastic little media streamer that connects to your Wi-Fi and accepts video streams directly from the ‘net — all you need is for your smartphone or tablet or PC to do the initial setup, then you can select a YouTube clip, Netflix show or any other Chromecast-able content and have it displayed on the big screen. For $30, you can’t really go wrong, even though the new one is significantly quicker — mainly because we still don’t have the new Chromecast 2 just yet. [eBay / OzBargain]
