Sadly, numerous news outlets are this afternoon reporting that legendary musician, David Bowie, has lost his private battle with cancer.
The multi-Grammy award-winning English singer, actor, painter (and Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame inductee) is survived by son Duncan Jones — director of the upcoming Warcraft film adaption. Bowie also had daughter with Somali-born supermodel, Iman; Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones in 2000. David Bowie had just turned 69.

“Look up here, I’m in heaven… I’ve got scars that can’t be seen / Oh I’ll be free … Ain’t that just like me.”
Blackstar
And over Christmas we got the trippy video for Blackstar aka ★ — the debut track from Bowie’s 25th and final studio album of the same name.
Ground control to Major Tom.
The stars look very different today.
