In line with the rumours we heard, the new season will focus on Bowe Bergdahl, the American army sergeant accused of desertion in Afghanistan. Bergdahl was later captured and imprisoned by the Taliban, before being released in a prisoner exchange. There’s been a lot of debate about his disappearance, which will likely make excellent fodder for Serial.
