Podcasts are on the rise these days, but as with everything on the internet, garbagecasts proliferate just as quickly as sweet audio excellence. Doesn’t in make sense to let the radio mavens at NPR curate the goods for you?
Earbud.fm is a newly-launched guide from NPR’s arts desk which lists more than 200 of the very best and most interesting podcasts out there. According to the release, the selection was made based on both expert and audience input from both people inside and outside the organisation. In other words, we’re meant to understand this list as impartial.
The listing includes obvious stuff like Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk, but there’s also A LOT of other podcasts you’ve never heard of, roughly broken into categories. It’s easy to get lost in the heap, but it’s about time somebody endeavoured to put order to the madness.
