What started as a concept design by Andrew Capener some four years ago is already at its third official release as Winning Solutions has once again worked with the artist to create a new version of Scrabble Typography Edition.
At just $US50, Scrabble Typography 3rd Edition isn’t as opulent as the original or second edition of the game, but it’s now even easier on the eyes with 12 new fonts selected by Capener himself, who also completely redesigned the game board.
Scrabble Typography 3rd Edition also comes with a redesigned score pad, the standard accessories like 100 wooden letter tiles, four wooden tile racks, and a tile pouch, and a solid wooden storage box with a sliding cover. Unlike Monopoly, there isn’t a thousand different variations of Scrabble to choose from now. But when the occasional variations end up looking this amazing, we’ll certainly choose quality over quantity.
