Skype Is Still Working To Restore Service To Some

Skype has been working to get its service back up and running for many users since about 6 PM AEST.

Most of those impacted by the network issue are having difficulty logging in on mobile and desktop apps. At 1 AM, the company said that it had identified the problem and is working on a fix, noting that Skype for Business users were not affected.

So how does this affect normal users? After logging into Skype, all contacts appear to be offline, even if the contacts actually are online. Which means no calls until the company can push out a fix. As of this writing, it seems as though many users are still having problems.
