Google’s got your next digital wallpaper right here. Earth View is a collection of 1,500 of the most striking satellite view photographs that can be found in Google Earth. The best part is all the images are free to download and use on your own gadgets.
There’s also an extension for Chrome that will give you access to “Leanback mode,” which is a lot like hitting play on a slideshow. If you decide to download an image, you’ll get a 1800 × 1200 jpeg bearing the copyright of the company who captured the spectacular view, most seeming to come from a company called DigitalGlobe.
