More Data, More Calls, More Texts: Vodafone Has New Bill Shock Busting Plan Features

Vodafone has announced a swathe of simplification initiatives this morning, designed at making life easier for customers. we’re talking more data, better billing for international calls and more control over shared data.

Vodafone will roll out two new features to its customers to help make life easier, including one that lets shared data customers switch data pool access on or off for different services on the plan, and another which automatically adds 60 minutes of international calls to your plan for $6 extra if you go over your bundled international calling minutes.

Voda says that this is part of its bid to cut down on mobile data bill shock, which is still a thing apparently.

Vodafone is also boosting the amount of data on one of its highest plans. The $100 Red Plan now includes 10GB of data by default as opposed to the 6GB it had before.

The carrier is also bringing its plans in line with other telcos like Optus, by giving its customers unlimited standard national calls and texts on every plan.

If you could ask for anything from your telco, what would it be? Tell us in the comments.
