Not able to pack up the car to head to Splendour In The Grass this weekend? Don’t stress: Telstra is live-streaming the event.
From Sunday, Telstra will be streaming Splendour live from Byron Bay. It doesn’t look like the telco will be streaming the whole festival, just that one day. In the meantime, Telstra says it will bring you interviews and behind-the-scenes footage instead.
Telstra isn’t just pointing cameras at the event either: it’s doing a full hosting experience, with the likes of James Mathison and Ella Hooper anchoring the show.
The telco is also making it easy for people to stay in touch with the festival. Texting the name of an act to 0484 111 111 means that Telstra will text you a reminder to go to the stream 10 minutes before the performance starts. Nifty!
