As Hot Toys slowly works its way through the Iron Man universe, it was inevitable that after producing action figures for almost every last armoured suit Tony Stark has built, it would eventually get around to turning characters like Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts into sixth-scale collectibles.
At this point it’s almost a moot point to ooh and aah over the level of detail that Hot Toys puts into its figures. But you still can’t help but be impressed at how much this tiny figure looks like Gwyneth Paltrow’s character from Iron Man 3 — right down to the look of disgust on her face at the thought of someone eating a Cup-a-Soup.
It looks like Hot Toys actually has two versions of the Pepper Potts figure planned. One that includes various hands, alternate feet (with and without shoes), and a swappable Iron Man Mark IX right arm that even has a glowing LED repulsor on on the palm.
The other version includes all the same accessories and swappable parts, but with the addition of an entire Iron Man Mark IX suit of armour plus a helmet feature Pepper Potts’ face inside. Pricing and availability details haven’t been officially revealed for either set, but you can expect to have to cough up a few hundred bucks when they’re finally available some time in 2016.
