Never Fly Your Light Plane Without Checking For Cats

Video: This amateur pilot must have had the fright of his life when he spotted a cat lying in the hollow wing of his ultra-light plane, while he was already flying it.

This is incredible. The YouTube video’s caption is in French, but a translation follows:

Un baptême de routine, jusqu’à ce que…de l’importance de regarder dans les ailes avant chaque vol. Pour info le chat va très bien, il continue avec application son rôle de mascotte du club

Routine baptism (flight?) until… the importance of looking into the wings before each flight.
FYI the cat is fine, it continues with its implementation club mascot role

You see the first hint of the cat appearing at 0:38, but it takes another 20 seconds before the pilot actually spots it — and the look on his face is priceless. It only takes about 90 seconds for the French pilot to land again and (slightly unceremoniously) remove said cat. Thank god it’s OK.
