USB File Explorer To Be Included With Android M

Sometimes it’s the little improvements that go a long way when it comes to mobile OS updates and with Android M, one of those small tweaks will be the inclusion of a file browser of USB storage devices.

Brad Linder over at Liliputing grabbed a copy of the latest developer build of Android M and discovered the addition of the browser. The clip above shows it in action and while not terribly exciting, it does appear the feature is as complex as it needs to be… which is to say not much.

According to Linder, it includes search and the ability to copy files to the device’s internal storage, providing some basic file system manipulation.

True, apps are available to provide this functionality, but it’s always nice when it comes built into the operating system.
