THC-Infused Coffee Pods Are Apparently A Thing Now

Coffee pods generally produce pretty awful coffee. However, a burgeoning number of US companies now sell coffee pods that come with a dose of THC! So now these coffee pods produce awful coffee that also gets you high.

Obviously, the home of weed-powered coffee pods is Seattle. One spot is Uncle Ike’s pot shop, where you can buy fair trade coffee blended with 10-milligrams of THC and neatly packaged in a K-cup sort of thing. It’s called Catapult. “I liken it to a Red Bull and vodka,” Jennifer Lanzador, the sales manager at Uncle Ike’s, told the press recently. “I had more energy, but I still had the relaxation you get from cannabis.”

You can find similar products from places like House of Jane, which also sells cannabis-infused tea and other edibles. The same company that manufactures Catapult also makes pills full of THC. This is in addition to the many different types of waxes and tinctures taking over the weed-based vape market. Or, you know, you could just smoke the stuff the old fashioned way.
