For this teardown they opted for Ob-Wan Kenobi’s lightsaber, one of the more recognisable and iconic in the Star Wars universe. And because lightsabers are all assembled by hand by Jedi Knights, it turns out the repairability of each one is surprisingly high. No hairdryers or pry-bars were needed to break this one down, just patience, a steady hand and a little Force. [iFixit]
