Beautiful Moon Trail Photo Reveals A Red Streak Across The Sky

Photographer Janne shot this beautiful photo of a moon over the course of 37 minutes. So instead of seeing the ordinary orb we’re used to up there, Janne was able to capture a moon trail that makes our moon look like a red streak across the sky. It’s so stunning that I wish I could see this in real life every night.

PetaPixel writes:

Janne was shooting with a Nikon D800 and 100-300mm lens at 300mm, f/8, and ISO 100. The trick behind the shot was a 10-stop neutral density filter, which greatly cut down the amount of light hitting the sensor and allowed Janne to shoot a 2258-second exposure — that’s a whopping 37.6 minutes!
