As if it wasn’t enough that comedic legend John Oliver tore Australia’s PM to pieces on his HBO show, now he’s doing it in interviews.
The Last Week Tonight host sat down with the good folks at the Sydney Morning Herald this week and made it clear he’s not through with Australia’s PM, describing him as a “car crash”:
Tony Abbott is an objectively fascinating man. The fact he’s the leader of a country is in itself appealing as a comic. What’s nice is being able to present someone who people have not seen here [in the US] and just to give them a glimpse into other people’s pain, as well as their own.
Ouch.
