Vodafone Will Revive Shared Plans ‘Soon’

One of the most popular offers from long-departed MVNO Crazy John’s was its offering of shared plans, where data and calling allowances were split between a couple or across a family. Vodafone (which bought out and killed off Crazy John’s) has now said it plans to reintroduce shared plans “soon”.

Vodafone Australia CEO Iñaki Berroeta told a media update briefing in Sydney this morning that the new plans would appear in the near future. “We’ll be launching shared plans pretty soon, and you’ll get more information on these soon,” he said. “It will optimise the different value you have between family members. It’s not just shared data, but shared plans.” No more detail was offered, but we’ll be keeping a close eye.

What features would you like to see on a shared plan? Shared data? Free calls between the relevant parties? A prepaid option? Something else? Tell us in the comments.
