These Are the Songs You Have Sex to, According to Spotify

Music for the bedroom is no longer a case of slipping Barry White onto your vinyl player and leaning in to your loved on. More likely, it means firing up a cloud-based playlist and routing it through your Bluetooth speaker. So, perhaps, unsurprisingly, Spotify knows exactly what you're listening to when you do the deed.

The music streaming service has sifted through a staggering 2.5 million user-made "sex" playlists — or at least, playlists mentioning sex in their title — to work out what music gets streamed during sex. And, kindly, it's assembled the most popular into this playlist:

Of course, if you'd like something a little more tender to listen to on the run up to Valentine's, then Spotify has undertaken the same exercise for the world "love". But we'd stick with the sex. [The Guardian]

People of Spotify! You're doing it wrong!

Music sets the mood. You need a playlist that suits the type of sex you intend. A generic playlist leads to generic sex.

    Some suggestions include:
    1. Chill mix for slow romantic C.A.T. position sex.
    2. Metal mix for wild abandon.
    3. Electronica mix for the horizontal dance.
    4. Industrial mix for handcuffs, feathers, edible body-chocolate and the like.

I listen to Beat It, U + Ur Hand, Can You Feel the Love Tonight and Dancing with Myself

...and there is a time for Adam Sandler's - At a Medium Pace: http://youtu.be/zLm5oSJRxIU

...but I've found that, for some reason, if you play it in the bedroom girls will start to say things like "If you don't turn that off then I'm going home." and "Why did you think it was a good idea to play that and call it a 'Love song'?"

I play anything from the Austin Powers movies.

Seriously though, we are taking spotifys word based on words mentioned in playlist titles? fair enough.

Do you have to stop midthrust if the song starts buffering?

I remember making out with an ex frequently to the album Internationalist by Powderfinger. She had housemates around and we needed noise to cloud out other noises, and at the time this was such a great laid back CD to listen to. Heh, laid back.

If you want to be a passenger ... climb about with me we're leaving now.
