Two-Factor Authentication, though sometimes annoying, is one the best defences against nefarious individuals trying to break into your private accounts. You should really have it set up on everything, but not every company has unanimously embraced the security measure on all their apps, including Apple.
The company has enabled two-factor authentication for both iMessage and FaceTime, after having added it to iCloud and iTunes more than a year ago. A recent post on Medium demonstrated just how laughable Apple’s existing treatment of two-factor authentication was — and it seems the company listened, turning on two-factor authentication to iMessages and FaceTime today.
