Last year, after killing its beloved line of plasma TVs, Panasonic rebooted its big screen lineup with a line of surprisingly beautiful 4K LEDs. Now, the company is doubling down on the benefits of LED with its latest line, which the company clams are the most accurate consumer TVs in the world.

Overall, Panasonic will by launching nine UHD televisions, which will all be powered by the company’s Life+Screen smart TV platform. We’re still waiting details on the sizes and pricing, but you an expect an array of products from affordable starter UHDs to the top-of-the-line.

Indeed, though we haven’t had a chance to evaluate Panasonic’s claims about colour accuracy it makes sense that they would focus on colour accuracy. LED is a very colour accurate tech — more s than competing technology like OLED panels that LG is focusing on. Additionally, Panasonic produces panels for commercial use, so they have some expertise in the area. We’ll update when we learn a little more about these beautiful TVs.
