New Google App Lets You Control Your Computer From Your iPhone Or iPad

The Google Chrome Remote Desktop app that was released to Android users just hit the iOS app store. The app lets you access your computer via the Chrome Remote Desktop app.

Obviously, you’ll need to download both apps and configure them before you decide to try to actually connect remotely. It takes a few minutes, so don’t leave it for the last second. But once you’ve got it all set up it works like a charm.

This isn’t the first app to grant remote access powers to mobile devices, or even to iPhones, but it is nice to have a Google version of the product. There are so many Google users who would never otherwise take advantage of remote desktop without this dead simple way to do it that only uses your Google account. [iTunes via 9to5Mac]
