Arcade Fire’s Will Butler isn’t much for sparse compositions. Even the “simple” stuff on AF records has epic flavour. So think of this delightful ditty he dropped yesterday as a stocking stuffer of a Will Butler song. It’s not grandiose, but it’s still mighty satisfying.
Butler’s gift, “Christmas 2014,” is more a properly a teaser for his forthcoming solo record Policy, set for release March 10th, 2015. That’s a long time to wait!
