By now, all the best harbour spots to watch the midnight fireworks in Sydney will be gone, gone, gone. Here’s how to watch without having to elbow somebody in the face to get a good view.

Telstra is once again a streaming sponsor of the fireworks show, and it’ll have a live show running via YouTube from 8:30pm AEDT tonight.

Telstra’s also streaming the show via its own App if you’re a mobile user, and it’s promising an interesting view of the festivities with a specially build drone running six high definition cameras to capture a 360 degree view of all the fireworks fun.

It’s not live yet (there’s a shock) but you’ll be able to watch it all unfold right here starting at 8:30pm.

Happy New Year!
