A few months back ALDI had a pretty solid deal going for its 9-inch Onix tablet, and for one day in December, it’ll be offering something just as enticing — a 10.1-inch Onix running Android 4.4 for $99.
It almost seems too cheap, so best do your research before buying, but if you’re in the market for a discount tablet with good specifications, $99 is hard to go past. As Alex Dennis over at Ausdroid points out, you get quite a bit of power for your dollar:

A23 Dual Core A7, 1.5GHz CPU
Front and rear camera
16GB internal storage capacity, expandable via MicroSD Card
Android 4.4 KitKat
Note that the $99 price is only available on 3 December, so you’ll have to do your Christmas shopping early. Well, a portion of it anyway — depends on whether you come out of ALDI with a lawnmower and a set of golf clubs as well.
