And in turn it wouldd be easier to use those plastic bags for garbage if this clever rubbish bin concept, featuring strategic grooves to accommodate small or multiple bags at once, were a reality.
Unfortunately, Hu Lingling and Zhang Baoyi’s Eco Trash Can is not, at least not yet. But even if the two can’t find someone willing to put their clever Red Dot Design Award-winning creation into production, it doesn’t look terribly difficult to hack your own. All you really need is a rectangular plastic bin, a hacksaw, and a series of well-placed grooves to create a compact recycling centre, or a convenient way to separate compost from the rest of your rubbish.
