iTunes Leak Shows Touch ID-Equipped iPad Mini 3 And iPad Air 2

Just as we suspected, a new iPad Air and an iPad Mini are forthcoming. Over on 9to5Mac, Mark Gurman reports that the user guides to two new iPads are showing up — by accident — in iTunes. And, yes, Touch ID is coming to both devices, if these guides are to be believed.

The screenshot above is from the user guide in iTunes, and it shows two new models of iPad. As Gurman describes, the designs of each device haven’t changed terribly much, with the exception of the addition of Touch ID and other small tweaks, like a Burst Mode for the iPad Air camera, mentioned below. Otherwise, it’s hard to discern many other changes to the devices’ industrial design — but we only have one more day until we’ll know more for sure. [9to5Mac; Apple]
