TEDxUltimo Announced For October

Back in April, TEDxSydney took over the Opera House to share its local brand of innovation, science and awesome. If you happened to miss out, don’t worry, TEDxUltimo has just been announced for 25 October.

According to function’s official site, the event will be held at the Powerhouse Museum, with the theme — “The Ultimate Place to Start Something” — revolving around positive tales from successful startups, as well as “innovative ideas from local universities, institutions and the startup community”.

Somewhat dulling the news is the fact that tickets have yet to go on sale — though you can follow the organisers on Twitter or sign-up for the newsletter to be kept in the loop — and that a list of speakers is yet to be finalised.

Slightly concerning is that the event is still taking presenter submissions, despite the page stating it wants to “finalise our line-up by the end of July”. Maybe someone just forgot to update the text on that one.
