Dodo Internet Service Dead Around The Country

Flying high with Dodo as your ISP? Not today you’re not: Dodo customers have been grounded today with an issue affecting both dial-up and DSL customers all over Australia.

First picked up by News Limited, the outage is affecting customers across Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.

Dodo isn’t saying what it is, telling customers only that it’s suffering a “major technical issue”.

We are aware of a major technical issue that is currently affecting a significant number of customer accounts. This is our highest priority and our Technical Support team are currently working hard to resolve this service outage.

Our contact centres are also being affected by this outage and it might not be possible to get in touch with our team via 13 dodo. In the meantime, you can reach us via Live Chat (www.dodo.com/contactus). We appreciate your patience while we try to manage the heavy traffic on Live Chat at this time. Otherwise we will make sure to answer your queries on Facebook as well.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for this inconvenience. We thank you for your understanding.

The service map looks pretty bleak right now:

Dodo doesn’t have a timeline for a fix right now, and lists all current outages as “ongoing” for both DSL and dial-up customers.

The ISP is advising customers to keep checking its social channels to check if the issue is resolved. [News.com.au]
