Clever Ads Piece Together Rubbish To Make Fun Of People Who Litter

Clever ads piece together trash to make fun of people who litter

Littering is lazy and selfish and just plain dumb. And it seems like the only people who don't think that are the people who litter. That's why LiveGreen Toronto cooked up these clever ads that combine rubbish to literally spell out what litterbugs are doing. Maybe they will realise now.

The ad campaign uses popular items that are littered — snacks, drinks, containers, etc — and use the brand name and packaging to form words about how littering says a lot about who you are.

While I think littering is bad, without it the cleaners would be out of a job.

Im sure cleaners could switch over to a different type of cleaning rather than litter collection but I agree there may be a risk of some people losing their job if nobody ever littered (although a litterbug that uses that reasoning is a "tosser", remembering back to the anti-litter ad from a few years back).

Sometimes its just members of the general public who pick up litter from the streets, unpaid, either on litter collection drives or whilst out on their daily walk. There's a guy in my local town that is very well known for doing this (always see him about town with his dog carrying a big rubbish bag, gloves and a grabber stick thingy.)

Also, people stuck doing community work orders from court go about picking this litter up from highways. Been there, done that. :)

Not a bad punishment as far as things go really.

The best one I had was working for a church. I use to do night shift at Holden's and I'd drive to the church mission place in the morning, park in their driveway and sleep in the car. When I woke up, I'd go in and sign off. Best community work ever. It was also a great place to get and deal drugs from and to other community workers. :)

Glassing someone is bad, but without it, trauma surgeons would be out of a job.

Meant to be a reply to @pepee63's original comment.
