It’s taken its time getting it out to us, but Facebook has finally pulled its socks up and pushed out a universal build of its Messenger app for iOS devices. iPad users can now chat and send silly stickers to their pals just like they can on an iPhone.
The updated app also makes it easier to lure pals into Facebook’s messaging system through a streamlined invite option, while videos shot inside of Messenger can now also be added to the device’s Camera Roll. Free texting and calling, private photo sharing and voice messaging functionality all carry over, with the UI a little more spaciously organised, given the extra screen real estate available.
