The top surface of the chair and its underside are one and the same, so you’re technically sitting on the bottom while you’re sitting on top. It’s enough to drive someone mad, so thankfully it doesn’t appear as if Miyakawa has any plans to put the seat into production — mankind just isn’t ready for this kind of multi-dimensional comfort.
