You Won’t Know What’s Real Or What’s Fake In This Baffling Printer Ad

Apparently, the best way to sell printers isn’t by boasting about its features, colour fidelity or DPI. It’s by blowing our minds with a bunch of optical illusions that leave us wondering if anything in our lives is actually real, or just a printed ruse.

Canon created the ad to hawk its PIXUS printers in Japan, and that’s probably why there are so many Gundam robots making appearances. But even if you’re apathetic to giant fighting robots, the ad is still worth watching and re-watching. If you’re curious as to how it was made, Canon posted a behind-the-scenes video as well.
