The video was directed by Bruce Branit, an amazing visual effects artist who worked for TV series like Lost and Breaking Bad. It’s a spec ad, which means that it’s made for his portfolio, not for the actual company. If I were Disney, I would contact him as soon as possible and run this thing as is.
As MidwestPancakes and other readers points out, the video is full of Easter Eggs:
The vineyard on the wine bottle.
The brand of jewellery.
The name of the club (and the valet service).
The wife’s name.
The house number.
The dog as Chewbacca.
The reversed role dialog (“I love you.” — “I know.”)
The “I have a bad feeling about this” quote, a recurrent phrase through the entire Star Wars universe first mentioned in A New Hope.
