Laurent Durieux is one of my favourite illustrators and designers ever. His re-imagined movie posters — recreated in an exquisite retro-futuristic style — are simply a true pleasure. I love to get lost in the fine detail and admire his perfect command of colour and shading.

Laurent Durieux has been working two decades as a designer and a teacher. He was included in the list of the world’s 200 best illustrators by the influential magazine Lürzer’s Archive. His movie artwork has been used for the Criterion Collection. Hellville — his 2011 short animated film — was selected for screening at several prestigious film festivals.
