HTC One Priced Outright, On Telstra And Vodafone

HTC’s refreshed, reinvented One (M8) now has Australian pricing info. We now know how much it will cost when it’s released for sale on Telstra and Vodafone, as well as outright from HTC.

Hers all the info you need to know. The new One, initially only available in a 16GB dark silver, will have an RRP of $899 when it becomes available in stores from 1 April – that’s next Monday morning.

On Telstra, the new phone comes on a variety of postpaid plans. Here’s Telstra’s take:

The HTC One (M8) will be available in Telstra stores from Tuesday 1 April 2014 or for pre-order online from today. Customers pre-ordering before 1 April 2014 will also receive a HTC Dot View™ case while stocks last.

Consumer customers can purchase the HTC One (M8) on the $70 Mobile Accelerate Plan™ with a $12 handset repayment per month (when you stay connected for 24 months), with $700 worth of included calls and MMS, unlimited SMS and 1.5GB of data, all to standard Australian numbers (excluding use overseas) each month. Min cost over 24 months is $1,968 ($82/mth) and 2-minute standard call is $2.38.
 
Customers on our Mobile Accelerate Plans can also enjoy Peace of Mind with excess data rates reduced to just 3 cents per MB and excess voice and MMS capped at $130.
 
Business customers can purchase the HTC One (M8) on the $80 Business Performance Plan with $2 per month handset repayment when you stay connected for 24 months, with $800 worth of included calls and MMS, unlimited SMS and 1.5GB of data, all to standard Australian numbers (excludes use overseas) each month. This plan also offers $2.50 flat rate standard voice calls (drawn from your $800 monthly call allowance) made within Australian between 9am and 5pm local time (Mon-Fri). Min cost $1,968 ($82/mth) and 2-minute standard call is $2.38, excess data $0.10/MB.

And on Vodafone:

Vodafone customers will be able to order the new HTC One M8 online now and in store from 1 April.

Vodafone is offering HTC’s One M8 for $10 a month on a $65 Vodafone Red 24-month contract, which includes a generous 3GB data, unlimited national calls and unlimited national and international text messages.

If you’re looking to buy outright, at the moment Telstra is looking like your best bet. The phone will be available for $840 outright from Telstra stores, although we’re sure it’ll turn up cheaper elsewhere in the next few days anyway.
