Movieclips Trailers analysed the total cost of being Captain America and after accounting for inflation came up with this number: $US54,977,922.05.

That’s cheaper than being Batman! And could actually be even cheaper if ol’ Cap’n used a different shield. His vibranium shield alone costs $US54,431,100 to make. That puts the rest of the cost of being Captain America at under 500 grand. Totally reasonable! Watch the calculations below:
