Astrophysicist and Cosmos host Neil deGrasse Tyson, in addition to being a general badass, is most famous for his wildly infectious exuberance for all things science. Unless, of course, NDT is stoned out of his mind. In which case, that vigor would probably turn into the masterpiece you see below.
Discovered by Reddit user bakkouz, the video shows Neil deGrasse Tyson’s articulate, now-famous answer to the question of who the greatest physicist in history is — just 100 per cent slowed down. Turns out, it’s a lot harder to pay attention to the heartfelt response when Tyson can barely keep his eyes open.
You can see the original video down here — and you should, it’s a great tribute to a brilliant man. But as far as hilarity goes, it doesn’t hold a candle to the slurring, droopy-eyed science on Quaaludes version above. Am I rite, Neil?
