The New Steve Jobs Movie Could Be Directed By David Fincher

Sony Pictures’ Steve Jobs biopic, based on the official biography from Walter Isaacson, is in the works. The Social Network director David Fincher is apparently on board; the project would see him team up with that same movie’s star writer Aaron Sorkin.

The film doesn’t even have a confirmed title yet, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sorkin has been working on the script for the movie since 2012, in between stints of writing for The Newsroom. Honorary Australian Steve Wozniak is also on board as a consultant.

Fincher’s last flick was the American adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, released in 2011 with Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig at the helm. He’s notoriously picky about the films he directs, and similarly perfectionist; don’t expect this particular Steve Jobs life story in cinemas any time soon. [The Hollywood Reporter]
