Keurig 2.0 Brews The One-Litre Serving You Really Want

A Keurig is great when you want a single, solitary cup of coffee, but how many caffeine fiends do you know who stop after the first cup? Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ newest Keurig finally acknowledges the serving size most of us are used to, with a machine that brews a one-litre carafe.

Keurig 2.0 will take new, larger K-Carafe cups to brew enough fresh coffee to share with a guest, or save you a second jog back to the kitchen. If you’re stocked up on single sizes, don’t fret — the new machine will also take standard K-Cups for single servings. Keurig 2.0 will hit stores in the fall. Who knows? Maybe Keurig cocktail recipes and K-Cup soups will scale up to jumbo servings too! And with more millilitres per plastic K-Cup, it’s even better for the environment. Slightly. Maybe.
