Demonoid Tracker Finally Back Online

After a year of silence, the Demonoid tracker has finally returned to the interwebs.

Demonoid was taken down months ago after a series of unfortunate events including a piracy crackdown and DDoS attacks.

The Demonoid tracker came back up in the wee hours of this morning, and according to TorrentFreak, rocketed back up into the top five trackers in less than a day. At last count, there were reportedly 1.3 million users connected, sharing almost 400,000 files.

The people behind Demonoid have told TorrentFreak they plan to bring the whole site back up in due time. [TorrentFreak]
