We’ve been hearing reports that Nokia will add the Lumia 929 — a 5-inch 1080p device — to its growing fleet of phones with big screens sometime soon. Now Windows Phone Central has gotten its hands on images, which, if real, give us the best look at the phone so far.
The pics show us a phone that’s consistent with the design of the entire Lumia families. But under the hood, we’re allegedly looking at a souped-up Lumia 928 — the 929 reportedly has a better chip (Qualcomm’s superstar, power-sipping quad-core Snapdragon 800) and a better camera (20MP PureView lens on the back). Additionally, Windows Phone Central claims the 929 will have dual-LED flash, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Qi wireless charging, and it’ll come in glossy white or matte black. That Nokia would be cooking up more big screen phones is no surprise — last month Microsoft finally updated Windows Phone 8 to support full HD on 5- and 6-inch screens. [Windows Phone Central]
