There are countless online services that will turn your Instagram photos into everything from business cards, to flipbooks, to coffee mugs. But Bloomf has taken a wholly original approach to making hard copies of your digital photos — except they’re not hard at all. The website will print your shots onto gourmet marshmallows letting you devour the photos of your favourite meals all over again.
The service lets you temporarily immortalise (until they’re eaten) nine images per order onto marshmallows just over an inch-and-a-half in size. As for quality, Bloomf’s website points out that you probably shouldn’t expect Retina Display-quality images here, but the results will probably surprise you as long as you stick with brighter images with lots of contrast.
A set of nine will cost you roughly $US20, and while the service is available to folks in the UK right now, the rest of the world will have to wait until early next year to get their hands on them. In the meantime, you can always try spotting images in your toasted marshmallows like some kind of campsite Rorschach test. [Boomf via Pocket-lint]
