Forget stuffing contraband in your butt to sneak it past prison guards. Some creative crooks have taken to the skies with new technology in an effort to get some precious tobacco to their compatriots in prison. This takes the drone delivery servicetrend to a new, absurd level.
WALB reports that corrections officers at Calhoun State Prison in the US state of Georgia spotted a multi-rotor drone fly over the prison gates. Not normal! They started searching the area, and, sure enough, they found a car full of dodgy folks nearby. Inside the vehicle: binoculars, big bunches of tobacco, and of course a remote-controlled drone.
