Telstra Is Suing NBN Co

Things aren’t going so well for NBN Co right now, with news breaking that Telstra is suing the government-owned fibre company over the $11 billion deal it inked last year.

The Australian Financial Review reveals that Telstra is suing NBN Co for around $100 million in index payments for its copper wholesale network and access to its pits and ducts.

Telstra believes that it should have been paid from 2011 when the two parties agreed to the contract, however it’s being reported that NBN Co feels the payments should be made from 2012 when shareholders signed off on the deal.
