Vodafone pricing is out for both the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s; Vodafone is also taking pre-orders for the iPhone 5c now.
Vodafone is taking pre-orders for the iPhone 5c online (but not for the iPhone 5s) before both phones go on sale at Vodafone stores at 8am on September 20.
You may not be able to pre-order the iPhone 5S online, but you can at least pre-register if you want to get it from Vodafone.
Vodafone’s “Red” infinite Plans start from $67 per month to get a 16GB iPhone 5c. Thats $65 per month, plus $2 per month for the handset. For that, you get free standard national calls to landline and mobile phones, free local and international texts, and 1.5GB of data on a 24 month plan.
The $80 plan comes with 2.5GB data, and the $100 plan comes with 5GB data; the plans are otherwise identical.
Vodafone is offering the plans on 12-month or 24-month terms.
The most obvious point to note here is that buying a 16GB iPhone 5C on a $80 or $100 24 month plan makes no sense. You can get a 32GB for the exact same price, so avoid the 16GB iPhone 5c unless you’re going for the cheapest plan.
It’s also be worth noting that the monthly costs for the 32GB iPhone 5c and the 16GB iPhone 5s are the same, so you can pick whether you’d rather have more power or more storage for the price.
And, as a last point, if you’re looking at a 24 month, $100 plan, you may as well get a 32GB iPhone of your preference: it costs the same per month as the 16GB equivalent.
Those prices are little disappointing – only the 64GB handsets show any discounts compared to Vodafones iPhone 5 infinite plans, when they were announced this time last year.
