The Mana Bar is possibly Australia’s coolest bar. Beer, mates and video games, all under the one roof. Now, however, it looks like the Mana Bar in Melbourne is set to shut its doors after real estate agents swooped in to advertise the premises.
Mana Bar Melbourne is set to shut its doors in September after reportedly poor turnout numbers put the business under strain, as well as other reasons that management aren’t ready to speak about just yet.
Real estate agents are now officially advertising the 336 Brunswick St location as for lease.
As we understand, the original Brisbane-based Mana Bar will continue operation.
Guy Blomberg, one of the three founders of The Mana Bar provided Kotaku with the following statement.
“I honestly don’t have much to do with Mana Bar anymore, PAX Aus takes up all of my time these days.”
