Apple Wins Again Against Samsung: ITC Bans Some Samsung Phones

Word is trickling in through the wire that Apple just scored another US court victory over Samsung. What does that mean? For now it looks like the United States International Trade Commission has ordered Samsung to stop selling and distributing devices that infringe on two Apple patents.

According to FOSS Patents, the ITC found that Samsung infringes on the “Steve Jobs patent” which deals with basically using a touch screen device and a patent that detected if headphones were plugged in. The import ban will begin after the 60-day Presidential review.

It’s unclear which Samsung mobile devices fall under the ban but they’re most certainly older devices as this case has been around for so long.
