This Multi-Purpose Living Cube Fits Life Into 9sqm

Swiss designer Till Könneker recently came up with a fantastic way to maximise the space in his studio apartment, which lacked room for storage. He created a loft bed called the Living Cube that incorporates everything from an entertainment centre, to a clothes rack, to even a walk-in closet for stashing things he wants kept out of sight.

It’s a brilliant take on the bunk bed that doesn’t end up making his apartment look like a college dorm room. The top hat sitting on the antique trunk is a little pretentious, but we’ll let that slide since the use of dark stained wood and open shelving on the Living Cube help it blend into the apartment’s decor.
