While speaking with journalists after last night’s three-pronged Google Android 4.3/Nexus 7/Chromecast spectacular, the company’s Sundar Pichai reportedly told people that Samsung’s preparing an updated Nexus 10 to sit alongside the new Asus-made Nexus 7.
The quote appeared on Twitter, where Wall Street Journal reporter Amir Efrati said: “Expect to see new 10-inch Nexus 10 Android tablet (made by Samsung) in the near future, Google’s Sundar Pichai tells me.”
The current Nexus 10 features a very high-res 2560×1600 display, 2GB of RAM and is powered by a dual-core Samsung Exynos 5 chipset. Whacking a bit of a newer processor in it and sticking Android 4.3 on there would be enough to make it a winner. [Techradar]
